We'd been twice, three years ago (brunch and dinner) and loved this place. Couldn't wait to return. Unfortunately, on this visit, a bit of the shine wore off (just a bit!). We had Sunday brunch, and opted for the gourmet version -- all 58 Euros of it. When I ordered an espresso, I was told that there was American coffee... More

Walked by to grab a dozen macaroons for the train back to London. Taste was off the charts. Located on a cute alley in a great part of Paris.

All the courses have chocolate, although it's not obvious. Anyway it's a nice idea. I like my starter and main - not heavy like traditional French. Dessert of dark chocolate was wonderful. About €55 with 2 glasses of wine. Not bad at all.

SO this was a real discovery in Paris. The restaurant is built around a tour from the 12th century, and it gives all it's cachet to the place. It's very simplace, neat, a little classy but nothing too fancy. Service is great, everyone is smiling and for once everyone seems to be enjoying their job! THe concept is chocolate. Appetizer... We visited the Latin quarter back in September and found this Gem. Every dessert we tried was outstanding and beautiful to look at. After trying their macaroons my standards went through the roof. We loved this place so much that we went back the next day to try new things and buy a box of macaroons to eat in our... More

Had an amazing dinner in this wee place, located in a really charning street. Great starter, great main topped by a superb dessert (apricot & rosemary souffle). I shall be back!

The hot chocolate was fantastic! We also tasted some macarons. The ones with the hazelnut flavor and the salted caramel were very nice. However it's a little expensive.

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
