Q: So how do you write a TA review as a visitor to Paris about a seafood chain restaurant without thinking you'd never write a review for travelers at one of your local "seafood chainstores" at home? A: Perhaps because they don't serve absolutely fantastic mussels? And while I don't really expect French visitors to the USA would consider Red... More

Don't stuck with 3 stars, this restaurant is a classic with all branches. I visit Paris every 2 years for business and try to visit one of them as a to-do-list item. Always find the same taste with good selection of beers. Go there, eat these mussels and be happy.

After visiting Sacre Coeur, we took a nice walk along Place de Clichy, passed Moulin Rouge and decided to eat around 5 pm. Unfortunately all the surrounding restaurants were serving burgers and steaks, catering to N. Americans and none of them were open for dinner that early. When we passed by this restaurant and saw movement inside, we poked our... More

Nice place with friendly staff. Quite a different experience, with a thumbs up for the food and the selection of beers. Not overpriced, good price-quality ratio.

Part of a chain but provides excellent food and service at a good price. There is no need to book although it is a busy restaurant.

Ok, they do more than just moules here....but why go for anything else as they are delicious and well cooked. The vin de maisson rouge was well priced and the service was ok. The decor is a bit fast food joint but never the less the stars of the show are the mussels. Worth a visit. All the local bars... More

I went with my family; they love mussels, and I don't. I ate the maroilles chicken (with fries). The chicken was actually quite good, but you didn't get a whole lot. The staff were quite unhelpful and they didn't know English. It also seemed they had no AC, because it was incredibly hot inside the restaurant. The rest of my... More

Great if you like Moule, but s bit limited if anyone in your party doesn't. I had the special deal Moule Fite and a beer for €14. Loads of really tasty Moule, really nice. My son had a burger which to be honest was a bit strange as it was served between two large circular hash browns. He said it... More

We found this by chance as we were looking for a place to have a quick bite before watching the finals...and it didn't disappoint. The creamy mushroom mussels just melts in your mouth. It was so tasty that I didn't have time to take pic as my hubby and I were busy devouring the big bowl of mussels that they... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
