If you're hungry after visiting Paris Opera, this is just across the road. The manager welcomed us enthusiastically and recommended a pork with rice dish which my Wife took and I chose chicken with rice. Both dishes were very good. Lunch set of a main dish+dessert was 18€ , and this on the main road beside Galleries Lafayette.

The food was terrible for all diners. The service was both rude and surly. Adding insult to injury, it was expensive. Go elsewhere.

I had a cold reception from this restaurant. It was a very cold day in January, I ordered some soup and a coffee. Soup came without bread, which wasn't as expected. The staff didn't give any welcome or sign of gratitude for having business. Perhaps I was a small bill customer, but I certainly won't come back and spend more.... More

We ate here every day during our one week trip to Paris. Great service, very friendly personell, good food. The waiter even showed us the way to a place ot buy a heater (cold hotel room) on my mobile phone on Google maps. Very helpful and nice.

We called in for a coffee away from the noisy crowds. Wasn't much better inside. Rude staff. Coffee was overpriced and not much good to say.

Shame. People very nice as always. Salmon ok. Steak cooked ok but cheapest cut and not loved by the chef. Christmas beer bloody expensive per glass. More salt and pepper please

Even 1 star is too many to give to such a terrible restaurant - tourists, please avoid at all costs. My Husband ordered an entre at the restaurant today. After waiting 30 mins, it finally arrived- the dish was frozen chicken, reheated by microwave (some parts were raw) and rice which tasted spoilt like it was several days old. Fearing... More

The staff was stereotypically rude and the food was bad. Unfortunate was of money because there are many places in this City where the food is good and the staff friendly. I would not recommend it at all.

Simply awful. Four meals, all dreadful and expensive considering the poor quality of the food. Avoid like the plague. A disgrace to their trade considering the excellent food that you can get in Paris.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
