The service was great. One of the quicker more efficient stops we had while we were in Paris. The food was good all we got were crepes and they were as expected if somewhat smaller than other crepes we had. The prices were not totally unreasonable considering the location but a little high for how small the crepes were.

This brasserie is well situated on a quiet pedestrian side street just a block down from Notre Dame. The inside is as gorgeous as the outside. Food, service and prices are reasonable and the staff is very professional. I would like to eat here every day, or duplicate this brasserie in my town!

After an hour or so in Sainte Chapelle across the street, this was a great option to grab coffee and a beer before embarking on the rest of our day in Paris. The servers were very friendly, and the beer and wine selection was good. They have one special bar that raises up out of the ground, and it appears... More

Staff were very friendly and well spoken in english. Me and my boyfriend went for lunch and the food was gorgeous. We tried the snails and the waiter was helpful in showing us how they worked!! Plenty of seats with not a great amount of space I imagine when the restaurant is full, but they were helpful with suitcase and... More

Only stopped for drinks after the sights of Notre-Dame. Great location, friendly staff and an average price.

After a morning of walking round Paris we looked for a place for a quick bite to eat before we set off back to the airport. It was in the shade so hit a table inside which was a little cramped near the window. The menu had a range of salads, sandwiches and main courses. The 4 of us chose... More

We had just attended a concert at St. Chapelle and we're looking for dinner along the walk back to the Metro Station. Came across several others we recognized from the concert going in and after looking at the menu posted at the door, we entered as well. Form the photos I took and the receipt, a beautiful and tasteful Poulet,... More

The brasserie is in a wonderful location - on a pedestrian mall within walking distance from Notre Dame and around the corner from Sainte Chapelle. The area is a great place for people watching. We were greeted and seated quickly with little fanfare. Our party of four was satisfied with our choices. I ordered the onion soup which was good... More

Popped in for lunch to get out of the rain. Lovely croque madam, salad and crepes. Probably a bit overpriced but near popular attractions and great people watching at glass windows. We had great service.

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighbourhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
