On a recommendation from our hotel, we had our first meal in Paris at Gaspard. We were welcomed kindly and their menus were in English also. One diner had a salad, but the portion was small for the price. One diner had the entrecot (pan-fried steak) which was a little tough. The appetizers of caprese salad (HUGE portion) and French... We came here because it was close to our hotel and we were tired after 3 days of walking in the City Of Lights. What a lucky occurrence. We're supposed t o dine at another restaurant. Food was superb and service matched it. I am asthmatic and we had given up dining outside for this reason BUT no problem here.... More

Loved this place. Amazing French food and a good wine list. The interior was warm and chic, and when we returned a second time, we sat outside on the pleasant terrace. It seemed very popular with locals and that is always a good sign! The service was good and they gave us lots of recommendations about their specialties. We had... More

If you are hungry, do not expect to come out of this restaurant with a full stomach. The portions were extra small. And when one of the dessert choices from the day's menu was no longer available, no substitution was made. We had to order and pay extra for a dessert from the main menu. The service was condescending and... More

A genuine French bistro in the 7th - delicious food, charming atmosphere and attentive staff - which is hard to come by not just in the 7th but in Paris itself. The fish was my favourite - papillote de poisson - and you should definitely stay for dessert as the crumbles are second to none. Run by a small family... More

I had my valentine dinner there..and it was very disappointing. My boyfriend had a salmon starter and I had a raw scallop with kiwi and pineapple topped on. My scallop went alright but there were scales in the salmon!!!!! The main course we had medium rare tuna on a bunch of stir fried vegetables and I can tell you, they... More

This was round the corner from where we were staying, so we went for an evening meal. Expected to struggle, as veggies often do in France, but had a glorious choice of food, well prepared, from the menu. Nice venue, great food, not too expensive at all. Well worth the visit!

We ate here for our last meal in Paris. The menu and service was appalling. The menu was a small handwritten chalkboard the man dragged from outside. We ordered and then 3 out of 4 dishes arrived, the fourth dish came HALF AND HOUR LATE. it was a beef dish. The man acted very strange and tried to keep us... More

Well, I can honestly say the food was good. Sadly, the service was not. My wife and I arrived and were invited to sit down at the only available table (the place did seem popular) and we were handed menus and shown specials on a chalk board. As we were looking through the waiter came over after a couple of... More

Stopped here for lunch on a walk from Tour Montparnasse back to Le Marais. The staff were friendly, even joking with us (via pantomime as I am not able to joke in French). The service was typically French, so Americans will think it is slow and indifferent. I found it perfectly acceptable. The chicken club sandwich was a pleasant break... More
