Description
This bistro is a concept-restaurant that honors French cooking and hospitality with an all-inclusive 3 courses, house aperitif, half bottle of wine each and coffee for 44 per person. Bistro La Muette restaurant in the very smartest part of Paris' chic 16th arrondissement calls itself a bistro but is a smart little restaurant. The front dining room is a contemporary space with a wall of water and lighting effect at one end of the room, black Murano chandelier, elegant upholstery and tapestries, while the rear is more traditional with upholstered seating in tones of red. The sunny terrace is delightful too. Like the decor, the menu offers the best of traditional and more modern French cuisine, with dishes like avocado with crab, cappuccino with mildly hot pepper of espelette, roast rack of lamb with rosemary jus and gratin potatoes and crispy dark chocolate cake with mocha sauce.
