So we ate here last night after reading amazing reviews and I was not disappointed. The waitress recommended something (can't remember the name) but was foie gras based. My friend had the steak and kinda wish I'd skipped the starter and had two mains! Tarte...More

View of Notre Dame from the Left Bank. Far better than typical options in this area. My wife had a very generous and well prepared duck leg confit. I went for the beef cheeks (great choice)! Nice selection of appetizers and deserts.

The only downside to this restaurant is that is one block from the restaurant around the corner where I have been going for thirteen years. Food and service were simply stellar. I went for lunch. I will be back for lunch. Possibly tomorrow.

Really great food, service was excellent! Nice view over the Notre Dame but it comes at a cost. Bit too expensive.

Le Tournebievre sits across the street from the Seine, within sight of Notre Dame, a little east of the busiest part of the Boul'Mich area. It's a fantastic location, and the interior has a simple charm. The menu changes, so one could easily visit more...More

We went there on a Thursday for lunch, with two couples. Not busy, because of the French holidays. Good attention, quick service, asked for sweetbread, cook came after a while that the sweetbread that came in in the morning according to him, was not up...More

As the bustling center of entertainment for the
residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon
never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional
cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets
surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide
eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just
next door and the prototypical terraced French
brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this

On the banks of the Seine, moments from Paris' Ile de la Cite and within easy reach of Paris' most celebrated landmarks is Le Tournebièvre restaurant . The first thing that will undoubtedly strike you about the restaurant (formerly Le Rencard Gourmand) is the breathtaking view across the river. But quite apart from the fairytale setting, Le Tournebièvre is special in its own right. Its classic French bistro cuisine is hugely popular with locals so it provides a real Parisian experience, quite apart from the usual tourist-version of Parisian dining. The simple bistro interior is accompanied, in the summer months, with pavement dining under a wide, shady awning. The traditional French menu is created using fine, seasonal ingredients, with a wide choice for all tastes. And, sacre bleu, the service at Le Tournebièvre is both professional and genuinely friendly.
