This restaurant was a local family run restaurant close to the hotel. The Victor Hugo that we were staying at and served up pleasant meals efficiently. this restaurant was just basically plain meals and not French gourmet cooking.

Good service, as this was near our hotel we often passed it and it was never too crowded, we went in merely for a drink but stayed for food, perhaps a little overpriced but well cooked and presented. Good attentive staff.

We came in with the intention of having dinner, but on sitting down it was just freezing and there was a complete lack of any sort of atmosphere. We settled on simply having a hot drink and moving on, and it did not look like anyone else was eating either. Drinks and service were fine, but it just wasn't a... More

We fell on this restaurant on our evening walk to the Arch De Triomphe. It was fairly quiet inside so was perfect for a quick meal out due to our busy plans. We ordered 2 main courses lamb in a curry sauce and steak with dauphinoise potatoes. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing, cooked to perfection, piping... More

I came to Paris to taste french cuisine. We scoured restaurants to find ones that had classics we wanted to try. This one had the gratin dauphinois, and a nice looking meal of the day with duck. As we order, they tell us they don't have the meal of the day. So my wife goes for French onion soup and... More

Very nice place to have dinner in Av. Kleber. The spaghetti is good and the waitress was very nice, she speaks French, English and Spanish so it's excellent for foreign clients.

I stayed in the hotel near by and want to grab some lunch by myself quickly. This was a great place place to watch the people go by and enjoy yourself a bit. The service is friendly (despite my bad French) and food was serving fast and reasonable quality. For such a location, I would say it is reasonable priced... More

Needed something to eat and wanted to people watch as I was alone. Service was fast and efficient. Ordered the curried lamb shank which was slightly cold inside otherwise I would have given 4 stars. The dessert was really good, soft chocolate cake. Reasonable price close to hotel. I expected better food in Paris.

On the face of it, this looks like a fairly ordinary brasserie and we weren't expecting anything special but the food was very good (lovely home made chocolate mousse for dessert) and good value.

Bad place, bad staff and lousy food. We saw a bad scene as they store the food. For more the price is exaggerated for the service and for what you eat! I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
