Very nice place for lunch in Paris. Convenient to the W hotel and a good selection of starters and a nice - albeit small - wine list. The Patio is superb in the summer for outside dining !

My partner and I booked this for New Year's Eve which cost 120 euros each plus drinks. We sat upstairs in a room with a good view of the street and they ran a silent black and white movie on the back wall. We arrived at 21:30 but the service was so slow that at 1:30, 4 hours later we... More

Weather was not great so came across this fine restaurant by error. Very welcoming despite being in jeans and trainers as we had been touring Paris all day.Good wine and the steak was very good. Attentive and very different being outside yet feeling inside.

So I have returned from Paris just last night and just felt I needed to share this great little restaurant with you all! Paris is such a big city and there are so many eating places to chose from. We stayed in the Opera region and this restaurant was recommended by the staff at our hotel. Blink and you would... More

Welcomed at 11pm. Kitchen was closed but the chefs still prepared a delicious meal for me (they were cleaning the kitchen when I arrived). Impressed! These people know how to treat and respect a client. Nice ambiance on the inside terrasse. And the food was a great moment: daurade carpaccio, fresh marinated tunafish with assorted vegetables and olive oil from... More

I went to this restaurant because it was just in front of my hotel, the W Opera. I read on TripAdvisor some negatives comments, so I was really note sure if it was a good idea to go there. First there are 2 different atmosphere. One on a terrace, called Bistrot (i was eating there) nice, but not luxury, where... More

Super atmosphere yet calm enough to come with friends and enjoy chatting without too much noise. Extremely welcoming staff. We were led to the back which is actually outside but covered with heat lamps and comfy seating. Lovely area but the only downside (otherwise would give it 5 stars) was that there were people smoking so if this is no... More

Nice place, with a comfy lounge in the basement. Too bad the weather didn't not allow us to use the terrasse because I heard it s great. The tapas and the wine were ok for the price ant the neighborhood. Good for an afterwork drink.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
