We started our meal with caipirinhas. Very good but a bit expensive for the tiny glass you're getting. Then I had the duck with lettuce and baked potatoes with herbs. Very simple but that's the way I like it!

I have high expectations when it comes to steak, but this place definitely fulfilled them. Good atmosphere, though slightly expensive but that's Paris

If you are visiting Paris, this is the place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have very good service, waiters are fast, they know English. The food is delicious. We have the best foie gras in Paris (very tasty), and a huge 4 cheese plate. It was amazing.

Watched the rugby world cup final there. Beer expensive but that's Paris I guess. Good selection of beers.

One of the better places to go for breakfast with a solid menu including American style breakfast. Serviceminded and English speaking staff.

We found Au Diable des Lombards one of the best places to have a beer in Paris... Fair price (for Paris, of course) and the best pizza we´ve had in the city. Service is friendly, the owner keeps one eye. We strongly recommend to all that wants skip the "touriste menu plus glass wine"...

We popped in for a drink to celebrate OUR SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY, after a disappointing meal across the road at 'Le Siam' and were greeted with a smile by the very friendly barman 'Augusus' from Sri Lanka (Hope I spelled his name correctly. He was helpful in the way that he explained the bar menu & cocktails to visitors from... More

The food is decent and the drinks are pretty nice for a very good price during "Happy hour". Definitely not a "tourist trap" as locals go there... I recommend the "Che" cocktail : which is an interesting hot cocktail.

Very impolite staff. The waiter seemed to be under the influence of drugs at 5pm in the afternoon. And laughed in our faces when we asked for the bill twice.

Had lunch there and it was a nice experience. Food was good enough (though not great), service was okay and the place was interesting too. Visited by the locals as well as tourists despite very central location, which in a way is reassuring. Prices are average for the area, and the "formule" is good value. We ended up there after... Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
