We had sunday breakfast here. Atmosphere was found lacking. Waiter didn't communicate properly. Menu was not in english. We had a brunch package which was very disappointing. The price was quite high, which makes value for money the worst I've experienced short of a tourist trap in Nice.

This is the second time we dine here. The products are finely selected and you can sense that in your plate. It is like it's telling a story. Maybe the best place to visit when around and definitely worth coming for. Une Valeur Sure!!!

Boring? Really? Please, Travelgirl8823, contact me via my site and tell me about your boring friday night. But looking at your profile it seems that any restaurant that is not bling bling is automatically boring boring. I wonder what you were expecting : singing waiters? A camel-drawn dessert carousel? Acrobats making crêpes suzettes on flaming hoops ? Comments like yours... More

The greatest of this restaurant is the quality of food & service. They claim to defend good food. Excellent wine menu as well. Outside terrace (with heathers during cold days)

We visited for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Last day in Paris and had not yet had any Fois Gras. So had some for starter and it was very tasty. Followed by a main course of duck. Delicious! It was quite busy, with everything from tea drinkers to eaters like ourselves. Mix of people and age groups. Relatively... More

It was a good restaurant even though the waiters were kind of rude we thought. One of them put his feet up on a chair and made his shoes whole he was getting our order. He forgot the bread and we had to personally go up to him to pay. It was OK but nothing special. The Quiche is good... More

We had a wonderful dinner here on our first full day in Paris. We were staying at the Dupond-Smith hotel in the Marais and this was about a 2 block walk from our hotel. Very nice people, really tasty food, not very $$$ and just what we needed. A broad menu of assorted cusines. Do not pass up the Onion... More

Very popular and so quite crowded. The food is very good and it's the place to have traditional onion soup, I'm told. But they were sold out both times which is disappointing.

I had dinner yesterday with my parents. We really enjoy our meal and my suggestions are the onion soup and the duck. Really nice restaurant and waiters.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
