Cold, sweet, essence of raspberries. Italians make gelato...but the French have SORBET. This charming walk up window had a line mixed with tourists and locals. Lovely to watch excited young children discussing with their parents what to try this time. Parisian manners are notable, even...More

After reading the reviews, I was skeptical if this really was going to be the best ice cream I’ve had and it IS!! Don’t wait in line at the main store because you can find this ice cream in many cafes and street vendors. Try...More

Every time I go to Paris, the trip is not complete without a walk down to the best ice cream shop in the entire city! Absolutely the best!

Finally found it on the Ile st Louis. It's 9 euros for three small scoops. Enjoyable but expensive. I had the fig ice cream which was good and the Grand Marnier both of which I would recommend, the praline was okay but I wouldn't go...More

Write down the address. Remember the address. Berthillon makes GREAT ice cream but everyone in the area seems unapologetic about sticking a "Berthillon" sign on their store, regardless of what they sell. There are countless fun shops to explore here, just don't buy ice cream...More

It was good ice cream, that's it, but nothing extraordinary, I would not go out of the way to visit the store unless visiting Notre Dame.

We stopped here for coffee after walking round Notre Dame and it’s a good place to watch the world go by. Our girls shared a ice cream sundae which at 15€ is quite steep, but they enjoyed the treat..you can buy a cone instead to...More

The ice cream here is very good, but far from the best I have ever had. They had many interesting flavors. I had the salted butter caramel ice cream and my wife had the mint chocolate. The mint was very fresh and quite strong. The...More

Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,

there are several places with Berthillon ice cream near church Notre Dame and île de Saint Louis. As Paris is a tourist town, I believe you will find several ice cream parlors open.
