This unique restaurant on a side street in Ajaccio offers a very good menu made up of traditional French and local Corsican dishes. The ambiance is pretty amazing as it has old time decorations inside that resemble an old Corsican village. The fixed prices menu allowed you to choose from a variety of dishes and all the ones we had... More

The restaurant serves the same four courses every evening and you are committed to all four - we found this much too much and would have preferred just a couple of courses. The village courtyard schtick is quite novel but I felt this was selling point rather than the food which was disappointing.

We had researched a few restaurants to visit in Ajaccio based on reviews here on Trip Advisor and other sites and this was one that made our list. Sadly, our experience was disappointing. While the restaurant itself is charmingly rustic, we were there on a Sunday night and the a la carte menu had been replaced with a Table d'hote... More

My boyfriend and I decided to check out this restaurant since we'd heard good things and the atmosphere seemed very nice. There are a couple dining rooms, plus outdoor seating. We were seated in an empty dining room and left alone for 20 minutes. Perhaps it's our own fault for not knowing how the restaurant worked, but I was very... More

Fantastic dinner with tasting of various dishes and local flavors. A place not to be missed. The staff are very friendly and made an effort to explain all the dishes and answer our questions. We felt as if we were eating at home. The restaurant decor is unique. Well worth the value that is paid.

We stopped here as my husband remember reading favorable reviews. We did not realize that it was a five course with 2 choices for each course. We had the soup for the first course---very good. 2nd course I had the quiche --good, and he had the crepe-- so so. 3rd course I had the roasted lamb and potatoes -- way... More

Just to set the blackground, I work in the food industry having opened and run multiple top class restaurants around the world. With this in mind, I am usually very forgiving when things don't go quite right. However, I can honestly say that this is by far the worst restaurant I have ever had the misfortune to visit. On arrival,... More

We had already read great reviews of the place on here and it was on our short list, but when our dive instructor (a local) recommended this as his first pick, we were sold. You should know what we didn't going into it, this is a five course meal. Every bite delicious, but we almost wished we hadn't eaten lunch... More

My wife (who is Corsican) and I met up with a Parisian friend visiting Ajaccio. We wanted to introduce him to this restaurant that we have previously enjoyed several times. Both my wife and I had the same impression this time, without having discussed it in front of our friend. We feel the restaurant is somewhat resting on its laurels,... More

We enjoyed the meal - set price €36 - for 2 entrees, one main, dessert and cheese. The staff explained the menu and the choices. The portions were generous and all our choices were tasty. House wine was ok. Water from the "fountain". The decor was interesting and the restaurant was crowded (Tuesday night) - we had to share a... More
