This restaurant was very good, but I was honestly expecting better after reading the reviews. The service was very good, and the one woman who spoke some English had a great sense of humor and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere is nice, but the food was not as good as I was expecting. However, I would recommend visiting.

Perfect restaurant in Reims. The food was outstanding - absolutely gorgeous. The staff were so nice, recommended champagne for us as we wanted something from a smaller house instead of the usual big boys Moët, Veuve, etc (which they also had available.) Everyone was so friendly, spoke English for us and we felt so welcome. Did I mention the food was... More

I love to walk away from a restaurant feeling like we were valued as diners, and L'Alambic does this in spades. The food was good without being outstanding, however it was the friendly staff, particularly the manager (potentially the owner), that will get us coming back. Because of our appalling french she took the time to explain each dish in... More

Travelling with a group of friends, we celebrated a birthday at this restaurant. The staff were fantastic, the food superb and the atmosphere tremendous. Most of us opted for the Gourmet Menu, which was realistically priced and the choices great. Presentation was spot-on - highly recommended.

Not so great. Reasonably good food, cooked well. Cave feels a little imposing and is a good idea but loses some of the romance with the use of mirrors.

We decided to try this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. This husband and wife team run an excellent restaurant and from the minute you step in the door you know that they care about their guests. Nothing was too much trouble in explaining the menu and the service was first class. The food was excellent... More

Lovely little restaurant, with typical French food and petite fours to die for. Beautiful presentation. Excellent service.

Have visited this place 5 times now and it remains our absolute favourite restaurant in Reims. The staff, food, wines and ambience are all excellent , can't recommend highly enough.
