A small restaurant, family run with a small but exquisitely cooked menu. The foie gras, meat loaf style, and the pigeon were stand out dishes and head and shoulder above what I've tried elsewhere in Loire. Service was impeccable, wine list reasonable. There were so many attempted walk ins that were turned away that reservations are absolutely necessary, they run... More

Best restaurant experience I've ever had with my high school groups. The duck was cooked to perfection, impeccable presentation of each of the 5 dishes, a dream come true for a French teacher to have such a beautifully, classy, French meal served to students and relatives. I've been traveling to France for over 25 years and this has been the... More

Very small, and with a loyal local following, Le Saint Honore prepares exquisite food, and the service is extremely cordial.

Well hidden in one of the smaller streets of Tours, but worth going a little off the beaten track! Pleasant welcome, good menu, and wine choices with good service. Maybe just a little on the pricey side for this level restaurant, nonetheless worth a visit.

Very authentic restaurant in Tours, fresh tasty vegetables from the garden, meat and fish cooked to perfection, classy but unpretentious service, peaceful and delightful xvith century setting with amazing galloroman cellar, lovely passionate and very generous owners, great value for money. I highly recommend this fabulous experience!

We got a recommendation for this place from Alex at Maison Jules Hotel and so happy we took it! It is small place run by a husband - wife team. The food is authentic French and my husband and I had a great meal. We both selected the menu of the day and were not dissapointed. The chef made a... More

Found this place as a result of a recommendation from the owner of our hotel. Another Tour gem. Rustic decor in an old boulangerie. The pain perdu desert is delicious and lamb cops the best i have ever tasted.

We dined there in October, 2014 on the recommendation of Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is tucked away in a quiet corner of the neighborhood behind the Cathédral St. Gatien. I lived in this town as a student but did not know of this area. Our food and service were both excellent. Unusual choices and wonderful presentation.... More

After finding this place on TA, I had reasonable expectations. After walking into the restaurant, I had high expectations - the setting was very homely yet refined with a clear passion for wine on display. I got excited. However - the service left us feeling a bit cold and unwelcome. Perhaps it was the language barrier (our French is poor... More
