We stopped briefly on hot day. Coffee was good. Marscapone ice cream was good, but perhaps not terribly fresh - or maybe the heat affected it. Service was good. View was excellent

One of my 2 favourite cake shops/tea rooms in the world (and the other isn't far away) and a must for any visit to the area. The display of cakes in the window is always very impressive and they taste as good as they look....More

The pastries are to die for. We took away a glazed chocolate fondant and a framboise layered dessert as well as a quiche lorraine. All gorgeous as well as scrumptious. We would return in a heartbeat.

Set opposite the drawbridge to the Chateau Langeais. This charming patisserie serves good coffee and gorgeous pastries. We sat at a pavement table, but there are tables inside for inclement weather.

This chocolatier is ideally situated and the foot of the Chateau so that in the summer you can witness the lowering and raising of the drawbridge whilst enjoying a pleasant lunch and/or a highly recommended cake. The selection is top notch and totally delicious. I'd...More
