We enjoyed the experience and the food -- but ultimately left feeling that there was a bit of snobbery from the staff about not being locals and not knowing all the local customs.
Have been to the restaurant numerous times over the last 9 years. The food is good, the staff are wonderful and attentive and will return in the future.
We have been visiting this since 1996, when it was part the hotel. It is highly recommended by locals, who form most of the clientele. Some trippers get short thrift from Madame, as this is quality dining, not a pavement cafe. Great wine list too.
