The best restaurant we experienced during our trip to France. The setting and views were very peaceful and relaxing after visiting the crowded Chateau. The meal was fantastic with superb service. It was a real treat for us. This is definitely an experience not to be missed. I would definitely recommend the enclosed terrace for seating. The inside was much... More

My husband and I went for lunch in mid-March for my 64th birthday, after walking around the grounds. We sat in the enclosed terrace, and it was enchanting. The service was impeccable, the food was exquisite--I was made a special birthday dessert!

After a wonderful visit of the Castle of Chenonceau, the gardens host a very nice restaurant. Reasonably priced, the menus range between 30 and 40€, with a selection of well executed French cuisine. The deserts are a must, see the pictures! The véranda offers a nice view of the garden and is heated if needed.

We were on a tour and part of the tour was eating here and OMG it was wonderful!!! The food, wine, ambiance and setting were just wonderful. The only thing I wish I could have done was have dinner here instead of lunch. So romantic is the setting! The Chateau and gardens are not bad either. When I go back... More

Stopped here during the visit for high tea. The quality of food was great, had a cafe gourmand which was really elaborate. Good choice of wine and drinks

Although everything looked yummy - we did not want something to heavy. We asked if hey had a salad. It was a most magnificent Caesar Salad - Chicken, tomatoes , asparagus, hard boiled eggs among other ingredients. Very tasty with a Kir Royale. Desert was yummy and modern. Completed an extraordinary visit.

Food excellent but the location is fabulous. We ate here after a visit at the chateaux with a large party. Service was prompt. The room is a beautiful place to dine.

I had my doubts when we saw this restaurant, but really enjoyed it here. Nice atmosphere, nice view, good service and very tasty food. Especially the figue, it was exceptionally good. Recommend it for sure and bravo to the chef :)

My wife, a friend and I ate lunch here during a day at the Chateau. Yes, it was expensive for lunch, but what an experience it was! Every item of food we ordered was superb, and the presentation was wonderful. Staff was very attentive and most spoke English. The reimagined Caesar salad is a 'do not miss.' What a perfect... More
