We had expected a restaurant specializing in bruschetta, and that's what we got. In spades. Who knew that a bruschetta could cover a dinner plate and provide a complete meal? The photos posted on Trip Advisor of their meals provided a good guide to what to expect. The food was tasty and filling. The service was good. We ordered a... More

Went due to recommendations on TripAdvisor. Not very good really. Setting is beautiful - outside on a lovely terrace. Service as good. Large bruschettas with Verizon's toppings. Salad was good. Wine was lousy. No selection either. Meal was not expensive, but still overpriced. I would not go back.

I went there after reading Tripadvisor reviews. Nice place, nice service, food was decent. However it is just bruschetta :-)

First night out in Blois, my boyfriend and I went to Les Planches for dinner. Food was absolutely tasty, the host (Estelle) and the chef (Cyrille) were very friendly and make sure you having a great time. In my opinion, it's a bit over-priced for a piece of garnished bread but the atmosphere and the warm, lovely place worth it.... More

We loved the warm welcome from Estelle, the patron and the cosy feel of the restaurant. As for food, really excellent, tasty brushettas. Very fair prices. Not gourmet but well worth a visit.

Les Planches has a lovely terrace to sit outside at the rear of the restaurant in the old part of Blois and this was lovely on a hot July night. The food itself is over-priced and nothing special - large bruschetta at around EUR 13. Service started well, but with just 3 serving and preparing the bruschettas meant service became... More

This restaurant is an opportunity for you taste an italian, spanish and french food at once. They offer stylized bruschettas from italian cuisine, with inspiration of spanish tapas and with the excellence of french dishes. It is a "must" if you are in the Loire Valley area!

First, some advice about Blois. Follow the signs for Parking at the Chateau (underground), then follow "Sortie" to Chateau. It cost us €3.50 for most of the day and saves hunting for parking. Go to the Tourist Information first, right across from the Entrance to the Chateau. Get a map of Blois before you begin your visit and just leave... More
