When I travel to France, I look for restaurants that have fine and rare wines available at reasonable prices so this review may be of little interest to you unless you share that interest in wine. The restaurant makes great play of the fact that they have 70 wines by the glass. As you might expect most of these are... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. The prices at lunch are a real value for this high quality restaurant. The food is delicious and it is presented in a beautiful way. The service is excellent. the wine by the glass program is extensive and presents many types of wine and all prices. It is unique.

I hate complaining or giving poor reviews. I guess I don't want to hurt feelings...lol. BUT...this had to be one of the worst meals I have had while traveling. I was so looking forward to trying a Michelin star restaurant, thinking it earned its star for a reason. The food was almost inedible, particularly the poached egg in red wine,... More

Wonderful degustation menu with a great wine selection (by the glass). We went during off season and the restaurant was empty (making reservations easy!) with only 2 other tables full during the entire dinner service. This made for some of the wines to taste oxidized, perhaps from slow turnover of bottles? The price is very reasonable for the quality of... More

After two very positive lunch experiences at Michelen star restaurants in Burgundy, we were extremely disappointed by our lunch at Loiseau des Vignes. A friend had warned me to only go there for their great wine by the glass list, but since it had a Michelen star I assumed it would be wonderful. I was wrong. We arrived promptly on... More

For a Michelin 1 starred establish , this is rather causal . But the service is impeccable. We have a group of 11 , and they are amenable to split the bills into 5 different ones--- they even split the sparking water among us. The food is good , especially the lamb which was very tender and well cooked. OK... More

For a Michelin Star restaurant, this place is unpretentious, unassuming and elegant to boot. The service staff comes across as having one common mission - to impress diners with the food and wine. No airs, no dress code, no pressure. We just walked in with no reservations! Just sit back, order your meal and let the sommelier recommend the wines.... More

I don't give many 5 Stars, but this one deserves it. Great food, service and presentation. Each delivered plate is a visual work of art. The 4 course prix fixe is a lot of food. Order more only if you dare. Plan on dining, not just eating. Allow about 3 hours to really enjoy the evening. The wine list is... More

When you stay at Hotel Le Cep it is very easy to walk next door to Loiseau. We were able to get a table and really looked forward to the dining experience. Being able to buy wine by the glass from over 50 or so choices is a great idea and allows you to try different styles etc. Well done.... More
