Have eaten at Le Clos du Cedre several times over the past few years. It is truly a French dining experience and everything you would expect, and more, from a Michelin starred French restaurant. First, the setting. The restaurant is in a meticulously maintained, almost...More

This restaurant is a fine dining experience. So expect amuse bouche etc. Staff are all well trained and attentive. All in all we had a lovely meal with a very good bottle of Beaune 1er Cru

We had dinner here last year, and commented favorably but not thrilled. This time was quite different: a light, well balanced dinner, with great touches (some Asian, some vegatarian) and fresh exquisite produce. Topped with a nice wine selection. Congrats, this place is moving upwards...More

One of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had the pleasure. First, location. We sat outside in the beautiful courtyard where, despite being in the middle, still felt private. The house behind completes a picture-book setting. Service was discreet but attentive....More

Was here with a group and we got set menus for lunch and dinner so its probably inevitable that the full ability of the restaurant did not shine through. What we got though was mostly very good food with a couple of excellent dishes. I...More

We were not disappointed at this excellent Michelin star restaurant. A good range of choices and beautifully prepared and cooked. Nothing silly or over the top, just great food. Service was very attentive and not overly obvious like some posh restaurants can be. Only issue...More

We stayed at the Hostellerie du Cèdre and dined at Le Clos du Cèdre last week. This restaurant serves haute cuisine and provides outstanding service, including a sommelier. The food was edible art, and delicious. The experience was wonderful and I recommend this restaurant to...More

What a beautiful place to have dinner! Delicious food and wines. You can either eat a la carte or choose one of their 3 or 4 course menus. Friendly staff with knowledge about what they serve. But expect to pay a bit more than your...More

We visited this restaurant back in 2013 and enjoyed it so much we decided to return this year. What a disappointment we had. Clearly the restaurant feels it should keep up with its Michelin star, but please, do treat your guests as if they are...More

Description
The gourmet restaurant "Le Clos du Cedre", nestling in the heart of a park, occupies the house of a 19th century master wine grower. The dining room is a suite of rooms with character, with original mouldings, panelling and wooden floors. Beautiful terrace in the gardens where you will be able to enjoy the summer days. Orders are taken for dinner between 7 and 9 pm. Menu from €48.00.After a career path under the stars that begins in Burgundy, continues in the Bordeaux area through the Loire valley, Chef Christophe CANATI chooses to come back to our beautiful region in order to lead the kitchen of the restaurant Clos du Cèdre.Caring much about the quality of the produce he proposes, he definitely gives priority to local producers. His cooking is sober and yet sophisticated, leaving to every dish its authentic flavours. His fulfilling work experience took him around the world, having him discover many culinary traditions. His talent skillfully blends vegetables, spices, flavoured oils and aromatic herbs. Burgundy wines are not left behind, playing a major role in his cooking as well.
