This little restaurant is wonderful, the food was excellent when we had dinner recently. Very pleasant staff who were most helpful indeed. Highly recommend it.

We were welcomed warmly by the lady of the restaurant who spoke some English which helped us in understanding the menu. The pork starter was tender and tasty, quantity as good as a main course. The braised beef special was to die for. Tender and extremely tasty with a delicious borguignon sauce. I had the fish dish which was simple... More

You don't need to have a "star" to provide a delightful experience with great food and wonderful, warm service. Our host was genuine and very helpful. If we were in town more than one night we would just return and eat here again. We had a perfect meal: food, ambiance, and service. Yes, it's that good.

We spent a splendid lunch time in this smallish (28 covers) restaurant which is very nicely decorated. My wife ha the potage while I had les escargoes for appetizers. We both has Le poisson. Everything was nicely presented and prepared. Les vielles vignes Chablis was a perfect match for all. Service was very good. Do be careful about checking for... More

This is the place to eat in Auxerre, not far from the river (just up from Pont Paul Bert) this is a lovely traditional intimate restaurant with less than thirty covers - booking is strongly recommended. The staff are very attentive and very welcoming and the food is excellent, we have been there three times this summer

This was recommended by our hotel for a Sunday evening meal, so I called at about 6pm and booked a table. Glad I did, as it is tiny, and all the other tables were full when we arrived. Staff are charming. The menu is sensibly short; mostly grills. Menus around 29 euros. Located in the old town, not far from... More

First night in France; tired but hungry after a long flight; and just reconnected with son and his wife. We weren't going to waste the night without a fine meal. That's exactly what we got. The restaurant is small and cosy. Reservations are a necessity in a place as popular as this one. Food and presentation were perfect. What more... More

This is a little restaurant as it can only sit approx 28 people. The room is well decorated with cozy feeling. The staff are very friendly. Though they speak just a little bit of English, we had no problem communicating and enjoyed our evening there. The menu is not very long but the food is very tasty. I would definitely... More

My husband and I had a very good traditional Burgundian dinner at a reasonable price. The restaurant is very cosy and intimate, and the waitstaff is very welcoming and friendly.
