This is a good location, and typically French atmosphere. The staff are great, very attentive and friendly Unfortunately the food is a little too greasy and basic - it maybe personal choice. And you will pay a reasonably high price - centre of town I guess There are better restaurants

My partner ordered Veal, it was inedible. My Duck was cooked extremely rare, which would not normally have been an issue for me, however, the accompanying sauce was terrible. I feel they must have been running low on sauce and decided to water it down. The vegetables and saute potatoes were overcooked...the worst meal I have ever been served in... More

Nice little restaurant with a very warm atmosphere and generous food. Would recommend. Foie gras was very good.

I have been a regular visitor there and every time I so enjoy the food and wine. Traditional perigord food served by friendly staff. One always feels welcome there. Truly a lovely spot for lunch.

Dropped in here for a spot of lunch a few days ago. Started with a bottle of Chateau Maison Caresse sauvignon, and an amuse-bouche of something a bit brawny, but as we were in the Perigord, it was fine, if unusual! Starters were foie gras two ways with brioche which was very good, and melon with local ham - also... More

A small family run restaurant by the covered market serving good French food at a very reasonable price. I have lunched there three or four times now and always had good friendly but not obtrusive service and a very pleasant and satisfying meal.

We had great difficulty finding a restaurant at 12.45pm for lunch on Tuesday. Some are closed Monday and Tuesday so be sure to check in advance. Also, it's a good idea to get in early as the locals seem to start from noon or sometimes earlier. We settled on the Dagobert which offered a two course lunch for €18 which... More

Worth it: generous portions and good regional food, kind service. Recommended pit stop while visiting the village.
