It is a place for tourist to stamp the passport. Long wait line all times, bad chips, meat, sauce with so much butter. Forget it!

Like most others we had heard about L'entrecote and wanted to try it out but this was a very disappointing experience on many levels. We entered and were ignored by the maitre d' in favour of the group of 6 who came behind us. We...More

Only one choice on menu....how do you want your steak cooked? Salad to start ...super dressing. Steak main...very good and a range of delicious desserts. Good service, decent wine all at a reasonable price. No booking ....get in line for 19.15 start.

Having heard that this was the place to have steak, and seen the queues, I was worried this was just marketing and brand promotion in overdrive. Turns out it is all those things, but backed up with a simple and marvellous product and venue. Brilliant...More

Really good steak in a delicious sauce with all-you-can-eat french fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and served with style by the amazing friendly staff. Good value for money

Very different for a French restaurant. We were lucky as we didn't queue. We couldn't fault the meal. Very nicely cooked steak (we had medium), very reasonably priced wine and a lovely apple tart for dessert. We hadn't heard of Entrcote before. A reasonably priced...More

We waited for an hour to get into L Entrecote but it was well worth it. We love the Paris and original branch of this restaurant but the Bordeaux was even better. Nicer dining room and the special sauce was even better than I remembered....More

Thanks for the reply but we went as they emailed me and told me it was gluten free. When we got there I was told it was gluten free without the sauce! I was dreading ploughing my way through a steak without sauce but it was... More

The unique menu remained unchanged since the beginning. This formula is a decked slice of sirloin of 170 grams accompanied by french fries and its famous sauce. His son Henry, opened a restaurant in Toulouse in 1962, in Bordeaux in 1966, in Nantes in 1980, in Montpellier in 1990, and finally, in Lyon in 1999. These restaurants are characterized by scots and black mural, a lemon yellow topping and hostesses dressed with yellow apron and black blouse. The exterior is beautified by yellow and black blinds vertical stripes for the best effect.
