We had a very good meal having been disappointed by some others in Bordeaux - la grande maison- and have visited royal hospital road a few times over the years so was very keen to see what the new pressoir was like as we visited the old restaurant as well I have learnt over the years that the tasting menus... With all the amazing restaurants in Bordeaux, it was a hard decision for my wife & I to decide on which restaurant to visit during our short stay in Bordeaux. Ultimately we decided on Gordon Ramsay because we wanted to see one of the five silver lobster press in the world. The online booking was quick and easy, and the... More

I went in with very high expectations but ultimately, I left disappointed. I've had some amazing Michelin star meals, and I just didn't feel like Le Pressoir D'Argent went above and beyond. The ambience of the restaurant is great--the music is wonderful and each table feels private and comfortable, but I didn't leave feeling wowed. I ordered the tasting menu... More

This was a splurge for me and totally worth it. Yes a bit formal but warm and friendly. And the food was heaven. We only did three curses and skipped the tasting menu and I was glad. With the amuse bouche, a complimentary salad and complimentary desert it was a lot to savor. The trip to visit the kitchen was... More

Easy booking Confirmed the day before Beautiful room, excellent for business etc, but even more for friends or romantic meetings. Food was very good, with lots of extras We had foie gras, veal and desserts, but those were interrupted by a lot of extra courses. The foie gras was to die for... We had a very cunning sommelier who guided... More

Ate here for our final dinner w friends from Bordeaux and we were not disappointed. We had a 3 course meal that was prefaced by 4 appetizers and punctuated by mid course delights and finished off with 3 mini desserts that followed our main desserts. I cannot even describe how each item we tasted was a delight. Each was unique... More

With so many places to explore gastronomical delights in the port of the moon, Bordeaux, Le Pressoir d'Argent by Gordon Ramsay was hardly considered when I planned my trip to the UNESCO World Heritage site with universal value. Gordon Ramsay has built a global empire of restaurants that I have become dubious and skeptical about the quality of the food... More

We took the tasting menu. Every dish on that menu was incredibly good. We only did not like the beet sauce for the pigeon because we don't like beets. So its very personal. But since the sauce was around the pigeon you don't have to touch it. The ambiance was very good and the service was exceptional. Some people may... More

Degustation was our decision and from that choice many courses of exquisite traditional French Haute Cuisine followed. Once that decision was made we could settle into some delicious cocktails, superb understated service and of course the food. French fruits of the sea and local produce abounded with magnificent presentation. Great restaurant in beautiful Bordeaux for a special occasion
