Just what the world needs more of, a pleasant and friendly place with no bells and whistles where the serve you honest and tasty food in generous portions and at a very reasonable price. The wine list seems well chosen and we had a wonderful half bottle of Saint Emilion.

We drove here from Biarritz just to eat at this Restaurant as it was recommended by Michelin as a Bib Gourmand. We combined it with a walk around the historical centre of Bayonne which is definitely underrated. Untouristy with beautiful old architecture lining its winding streets, it is worthwhile to explore the area. The Restaurant is Family-run, on a quiet... More

It was a quiet night, so the buzz of a restaurant was missing. The food was well cooked and nicely presented but it lacked finesse. My rognons were cooked perfectly but the accompanying pasta was lacklustre. Nobody had a bad meal but nobody wanted to rush back

We found this Bib Gourmand restaurant from the Michelin Guide and were delighted with our recent visit there. The restaurant is modern in style, airy yet still cosy because of the open stone and brickwork, giving it a quiet elegance. The chef and his wife were welcoming and very helpful. We chose the Euro 34 menu and found each course... More

Traditional food cooked from the new basque cusine point of view! Full dishes, with pleanty of food and a plethora of flavors. Beautiful restaurant with a frindly athmosphere. Decent wine list. Do not miss it, probably the best in town among the non michellin starred restaurants. Great price quality ratio!

The setting is quite nice, with a wall made out of old stones ; service is good. Food was good (not amazing, but good), wines were ok as well. Prices are overall reasonnable, thus leading to a good value for money. Will most probably go back there.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the receptionist of our hotel. The location is great - just a few steps from the centre of Bayonne. We were the first to arrive but the place filled in very quickly and was fully packed in the end. The service seemed rather slow at first, but got much snappier later on. However,... More

Stopped here while traveling to the Loire Valley from San Sebastian and enjoyed one of the best meals of my vacation to France and Spain. A complimentary fois gras appetizer was presented before our main course, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered monk fish (lotte) with a bearnaise sauce and a lovely vegetable tart filled with eggplant and zuchinni.... More
