Entertaining atmosphere with original decoration and great variety of tarte flambee. They offer the traditional ones as well as other more modern versions.

The Flamenkuchen are actually good quality. The waiter was unfriendly and arrogant. Tried to make us in some drinks we did not order on the final bill. I even think he did on purpose because he hid the bill partially with drops and his hand. There was one waitress who did a good job and was friendly too. Guess you... More

We went here to satisfy my husband's desire to try this local specialty-- flatbread with an an extensive array of updated choices of toppings-- so the degustation of 5 different types for ~€25 fit the bill. He said it was delicious, and (being gluten-intolerant) I would have been jealous if not for my perfectly-cooked steak with fluffy Bearnaise sauce and... More

Other names seem to be tartes flambées or flammenkuchen, but to me it was a kind of thin pizza with different toppíngs. Flamme & Co has updated the "pizzas" with fresh and modern toppings such as goat cheese, parmasan. Much more to my liking than the traditional not-so-tasty "tartes". - More expensive, but this is what you pay for: +... More

The place is very stylish and the selection of Flammkuchen was very good. They had the classic versions as well as creative versions - like tomato with mozzarella or salmon with goat cheese and honey. They were very delicious. The only thing that bothered us was that we couldn't sit outside, although there have been tables and chairs. But we... More

Restaurant is placed in the old town, in an area full of shops, and the Flamme & Co. offers a quick bite. Place itself is original and fancy (with the funniest toilets ever seen) and service is ok, althoug little bit chaotic. The basic menu comes in a big plastic cube that is not that easy to follow and check... More

Might be a bit more than the original version of flammekuechen. Tasty and original recipes - nice oven to cook the flammes in. Special temporary menu on offer. Loud music and funny red lighting in the bathroom!! We liked the place in the middle of the pedestrian area

I had dinner here midweek with colleagues. I ate a "tarte flamée" (a kind of local specialty pizza but with fromage blanc or crème fraîche) both as a main course and dessert. They were pretty good, in particular the sweet tarte flammée with apple and cinnamon. The service was quick albeit that the restaurant was not very busy. Prices were... More

This place specialises in the tartes flambee (or flammekuche), which is a traditional Alsatian dish that is a bit like pizza. We had the chicken and chorizo tartes flambee and the plain tartes flambee (cream, bacon, onion). Both were amazing, but the best part was the dessert. Not sure about the French name, but it was a "tile" (biscuit type... More
