A nice and small restaurant. The staff is very kind and friendly. Not a big variety of food to choose from but it was tasty.

The menu consists of different types of couscous and tajine. Friendly service, outside seating possible. The food is good, but nothing special. Mid-priced.

I admit, we wanted something different from the "typical" Alsatian diet and we wandered past this place. Looked promising. Owner eagerly brought us to our table, provided us with menus and didn't return for at least 15 minutes. During that time, there was some manner of emotional explosion in the kitchen with a women's voice yelling and shrieking, items clattering,... More

Visited this Restaurant recently and can confirm that nothing has changed since Easter when 'travelyarns' reviewed it. We waited nearly an hour, only to be served cold food in a stone cold tagine. Sent it back with another wait. Husbands chicken still only lukewarm so wouldn't risk eating it. The vegetable tagine was tasteless and runny and the lamb and... More

My husband and I dined at Djerba La Douce with our 8 month old son. The food was great but the warm, friendly staff really elevated the experience to excellent. Our son got a bit fussy in the middle of our meal and so my hubby and I were going to take turns eating and walking the baby around. The... More

We came to this place on Easter Saturday night after first spotting it on Easter Friday. Colmar on a rainy night during Easter is not an absolute culinary desert, but neither is it rich in interesting options to over-priced, over-rich Alsatian standards. We were keen to try Djerba la Douce because we enjoy spicy Middle-Eastern food cooked well. This was... More

This typical looking North African restaurant has numerous lamps hanging from the ceiling and pretty tea lights on the tables. It is a small venue and is popular with the locals. The staff speak very little English but it is easy to get by. There is a great choice of drinks and wine is available by the pichet. Portions are... More
