Great selection of loose leaf tea as always but the food is even better! Fresh and warm scones and desserts are the highlights! Perfect for anniversary and other special occasions. also to note is the waiters there who are really friendly and welcoming.

Had a lovely stay. Staff are a credit to this hotel, all friendly & attentive & nothing seemed too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was fabulous & only a short walk into the city centre for retail therapy.

Had a 3 course dinner with champagne for our wedding anniversary. Service was faultless and the food was amazing. Sat in the bar afterwards whilst a lady sang and played the piano. Very enjoyable evening, we felt thoroughly spoilt.

A very relaxing afternoon starting with drinks in the bar followed by 3 course Sunday lunch in the River Restaurant. Food excellent and great service especially by Daniel who looked after us very well. Piano and vocal entertainment also very good. Definitely recommend.
