Really nice food, we eat foccacia and bruschetta for starter and carbonara for main. Staff really nice! I seriously recommend this restaurant if you like Italian food.

We had a lovely meal and were made to feel very welcome by the staff. Everything we had was fresh and absolutely delicious - it is worth booking ahead as it is, quite rightly, very popular!

I've eaten out in a lot of places in Manchester, and I can honestly say this was the best Italian I've had here. My parents got the seafood risotto and prawn pasta, I got the carbornara, all amazing. Starters and dessert were lovely too. Service...was good and the restaurant had a really authentic feel.More

First trip to Manchester since lockdown, and we were given a warm welcome from Giovanni . Changed menu, so good opportunity to try something different. Great food and wine and warm friendly service. Felt very safe, as all measures taken re COVID guidance. Can’t wait...to go back.More

I attended a family meal here, we've eaten out quite a bit in Manchester but this was the first time here. We were seated promptly and given just the right amount of time to order. The restaurant is small but has a very authentic rustic...feel, very pleasant to eat in. The food arrived in good time and the staff were very friendly. We had a mix of pizzas and pasta for mains, and Calamari with Zucchini fries and bread with Olive oil for starters. All were perfect. The red wine we ordered was particularly good, especially considering it was at the cheaper end of the wine list. Overall excellent, especially the pizzas.More

Was initially excited for our visit to Salvi Cucina as the reviews were so good! We got a last minute table and the staff were initially very accommodating. However... the food was just not spectacular at all. Undercooked pasta, cold and curdled sauce on the...carbonara and a lengthy wait between starters and mains. Although the restaurant took the carbonara off the bill for us, we asked for the card machine 3 times to the table... half an hour later STILL no card machine to then be told that it was not working as the waiter handed it to another table to pay their bill using the card machine. Highly disappointed.More
