Called in for a drink having last been a few months ago. Service has always been a little slow and this time wasn't any better. One person serving and despite a queue, another staff member wandering. Seems there is no urgency to serve. Drink prices a little higher than average. Plenty of seating inside and outside, nice enough decor. Lots... More

Nice bar/cafe/restaurant in the heart of west Didsbury. Amazing food, lovely staff and there's always a great atmosphere.

I've been to folk a few times for both food and drinks and each time it's been fantastic so it's only right that I let others know that they NEED to try it out if that haven't before! The folk burger is absolutely delicious and the service is attentive and fun at the same time! Will definitely be back soon!... More

Thank you, I haven't been to your place for a few year, but this Sunday after a walk from Chorlton, friends wanted to go. We were lucky with the sun and day outside. We all ordered the slow cooked lamb on a flat bread but with a different side, mine was the polenta chips with Parmesan, wow very tasty as... More

Popped in for a bite to eat and very pleasantly surprised. The decor is cool and the atmosphere is really welcoming. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, service is slightly slow but thats not a problem as it's a really relaxed place to chill. Possibly the best hot chocolate I've had in years and the food was great. Garam... More

Had a great time here. I ordered the smashed avocado on sourdough toast which was really good. The staff were very polite and friendly. Was a nice place to go for Sunday brunch.

First visit, had been at the last Sunday in the month makers market and enjoyed our visit and decided to stop for a coffee and snack. The Folk bar is located on the high street of West Didsbury, looks great from the outside and even better inside. There is plenty of outdoor seating with winter heating lamps and wind/rain protection... More

I was out and about in Didsbury on the day of Storm Doris. The bar I had planned to have lunch at was closed, and I was wandering the streets in the wind and rain. I heard the wind chimes outside Folk ringing in the wind, and I was drawn inside. I saw there were some good beers on cask... More
