Had a meal here whilst Christmas shopping with friends. Friendly service, but the place was too busy to accommodate us for the time we booked. We had a wander for 30 mins then returned. Unfortunately I found the food a little bland, but my veggie sister in law was full of praise. Haven't been back since and wouldn't rush back.... More

Saturday at the Trafford Centre is manic to say the least. Although there are thousands of parking spaces, trying to find an empty one is very frustrating. Similarly trying to get a meal is equally daunting at any time in Europes biggest shopping complex. The food hall is vast with many, diverse eating places. Most with lengthy queues. Really wanted Carluccios... More

MOFAN V3 The MOFAN's visited Saffran on a regular basis - sometimes 2 or 3 times a week and initially back in late 2012 - early 2013, the food was fresh, exciting, low caloried and tasted amazing. Unfortunately the concept struggled to compete with the likes of the fast food chains - particuarly Nandos and up until recently the staff... More

We waited over 45 minutes for our food (and we were one of 4 tables there), but it was yummy when it finally did arrive!! I had the piri-piri chicken with the sweet potato and salad as sides, also with a side of the garlic yoghurt sauce for dipping - I cleaned my plate! My friend got the tandoori chicken... More

Went to The Trafford Centre for a day shopping and popped in here for lunch. I was going to go elsewhere when I discovered coffee wasn't on the menu but the staff made us some anyway. So glad we stayed as the food was amazing. I had the tandoori burger and it was absolutely fantastic. Would definitely go back there... More

Saw this online and looked at menu and thought this sounds delicious. Went to Trafford Centre to try it out and was quite disappointed. A large proportion of the menu shown online is not on the menu which I found very limited. Ended up having two starters instead of a main as no mains I liked. Ordered baked camenbert which... More

My partner paid our 3rd visit to Saffran today and it just gets better and better. I chose the Saffran Chicken with salad & baked sweet potato, and my partner had the piri chicken with salad & brown rice. We both had 2 pots of piri piri sauce as it's to die! The chicken is always cooked beautifully and all... More

We will start with the service we are always greeted by Dean who always has a smile on his face no matter what time it is. The food is truly delicious with all the healthy ingredients you could think of however if the veg was steamed it would be perfect. It's very nice to see a restaurant with healthy food... More

Description
SAFFRAN restaurant at The Trafford Centre is pleasantly located in the quiet area of the booming shopping mall. It’s in The Great Hall, which makes for a peaceful sit-down dining experience away from the hustle & bustle of people walking out of the shops and fast food joints. Our philosophy is to serve amazingly fresh and delicious food while sticking to a practices of making sure every single dish is as healthy as possible to reach goals of healthy lifestyle and overall well being. Our Tandoori clay oven makes our food just iresistible. Even Andrew Parkinson, a valued member of the Jamie Oliver Team visited SAFFRAN and got introduced to the concept and food. To make a long story short he was very impressed and in his own words “SAFFRAN is nothing but amazing!”
