Sunday roast has deteriorated since our last visit. Cheaper meat cut and burnt Yorkshire pud. Our local pub carvery is half the price and better quality.

We visited this venue last Friday. It was nothing special but at the same time we couldn't fault it. Lots of real ales good food great company. It's cost was expected, not cheap but not a rip off. Service was good.

Came here on the off chance for a Sunday roast. It was really tasty, the vegetables were seasoned great and the beef was lovely. Service was quick, we were in and out in an hour! Would recommend

Spider steak new to me excellent cut. Wish I knew where to get that quality of meet. Partner had the risotto and rice brule both excellent. Beer choice is one of the best I’ve come across.

Went in for Sunday lunch with friends. Food and service were both great - I'm not normally a Sunday lunch kind of person as I find it can be quite bland at times but that was perfectly seasoned and really tasty. Our only minor criticism...More

The pub/restaurant has a chic feel about it and has a pleasant ambiance. The food was first class, I had the lamb belly which was delicious. They also have a wide range of very good local and cask beers to choose from. The service was...More

This place used to be a favourite - for food, drinks, and general relaxed vibe. Awards were won for Best Sunday Lunch etc - unfortunately now just a distant memory. Went last night for a rare kids free Saturday meal. Menu was really disappointing in...More
