Looked at this place on trip advisor and decided to try. This place did not disappoint, the service was superb but the food was exceptional. The bistro salad is too die for. Would recommend highly.

The Bistro hosted our wedding reception, it was a fantastic night and one we will never forget. The food and service was first class, nothing was too much for the staff. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Chris and Anne-Marie

Amazing service. Food could not be better. One of our Party asked for the Allergen information and the Chef came out to tsk to him. Said he could make almost anything off the menu gluten free. Amazing place. Fab wines too!

I would like to book a table please on Friday 19th February. Can you reserve a table from 6pm for four people? We are celebrating my birthday, so would like a special table in a corner with a nice view out of the window. Do you do any special surprises for birthdays?

Description
Bistro West 156 restaurant is a shining star in the thriving restaurant scene on Burton Road in Manchesters West Didsbury, a quirky corner thats a foodie heaven not all that far from where the M60 and the M56 part company. Bistro West 156s pocket-friendly traditional cooking cuts out all the malarkey to deliver modern British cuisine, the real food that loyal fans adore. The rustic dining room with its granite topped tables, blackboard specials and changing local art displays sets a relaxed tone for easy lunches and suppers. While the food may be fine dining level, the ambience is bistro informal from terrific breakfasts right through to the last sip of dessert wine. Everything is homemade, and customer favourites include superbly cooked comfort classics like fish pie, chicken Kiev and Bistro West 156s very own melting chocolate pudding. You will succumb. The warm welcome and tables outside entice you to linger.
