We had heard about this place through friends and after checking out the menu thought it be foolish to miss out not being in Manchester too often. There were some concern as a friend is the worlds most fussiest eaters and steak and chips is...More

Went last night for my wife's birthday and had a fantastic meal. It is an expensive night once you'd had a cocktail or two but the service and food are just brilliant. The only thing that let the place down is the toilets, they were...More

I'm a huge fan of Australasia, the restaurant setting is fantastic and the food is always great quality. Most things I have tried have been brilliant, but the black cod and seared beef are amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the drinks menu...More

Came here for Saturday lunch with my friend. Nice atmosphere, though a little bit chilly. My friend had crispy suckling pork belly, I had the canon of lamb and we shared chips and satay spinach - all lovely. The highlights however were the desserts -...More

Underground bar on Deansgate contained within a pyramid shaped glass "building" which appears to come out of the pavement. Nice inside, yellow/gold feel/theme. Nice staff. Decent food and large drinks selection. Trendy but would be easy to miss if you didn't know it was there

We booked a table for 9pm but didn't end up getting seated until nearer 10, perhaps a ploy so you spend more at the bar. We had some great starters and lovely fish dishes but as you'd expect it is quite pricey. We had a...More

Awesome! Great food. Fab service from Greg, he's a keeper. Lovely escape from the same job. Not very often we both leave a restaurant saying it was excellent in all aspects. Food. Service. Atmosphere. Loving the last review. Ignore and go. It's fabulous. Unlike the...More

I'm not entirely sure, but working in the industry, I know that most restaurants/bars that are any good will do a little extra for special occasions if you let them know. Hope this helps.
