Pubs are in my humble opinion always a good place, particularly if you're on your own to get some nice food but also to have some social contact! The Angel is no exception, being just outside the centre of Manchester the locals make it a...More
Popped in for a beer, as they do a decent range of local real ales and the price is decent for city center. They have a upstairs section for eating where you can get pub style food such as burgers and fish and chips. Nine...More

Met a few friends for lunch and beer; good selection of beers, food was cooked to order, generous helpings and quality: all plates emptied! Background music not too loud, so talking not a problem, wasn't too busy so prompt friendly service.
