Third time in one week at the Bistro. Why? Well there are many reasons- 1. It's child friendly with a nice selection of food. 2. It's clean- ambient and airy to sit in. 3. The staff are very good and accommodating. Especially "Geof" who was...More

The bistro is ok , but Chef , please be more generous with servings. If i order a main course moules mariniere for 13 quid , i expect a huge steaming tanker of molluscs dripping with creamy sauce, not some dainty bowl as might have...More

Dear Tony R My apologies for any inconvenience to the size of the portion when you visited last year. As we serve 2 sizes (starter and main) I can only assume we had a bit of a mix up and gave you a starter instead...More

We've tried a couple of the recommended restaurants in Chipping Camden and found that we rather liked the food in the Bistro more. Nothing fancy but their Cornish Mussels in garlic cream, Wild mushroom risotto with fresh truffle and the Seafood platter were very good....More

We were looking for something a bit more casual than the dining room, but not a pub and the bistro met our needs well. The fresh buratta and heirloom salad was perfectly dressed with a nice balsamic, and our mains well prepared. My husband had...More

Very good dinner. Mushroom risotto was delicious. Salads, soups and bread were all wonderful. Nice, peaceful restaurant overlooking a beautiful outdoor area. Nice, attentive service. We arrived fairly early with no reservations and we're very casually dressed because we had been hiking all day. The...More

Was able to get in late on a weekday night without any reservation. The friendly French server was decisive when I asked her what she recommended, and I am glad I listened because my steak was very tender and flavorful. (But my partner's pork roast...More

This is an upmarket restaurant in Chipping Campden. The service was excellent and quick and the staff could not do enough for us. The food was tasty and expertly presented. A must for a special occasion or night out.

On our first night staying in this charming village we went walking to find a place for dinner. We were warmly welcomed on enquiring about a table at the Cotswold Grill. We were most pleasantly surprised at the lovely atmosphere and more importantly by the...More

Description
Located in the luxurious Cotswold House in the centre of Chipping Campden, Bistro-on-the-Square is the hub of the hotel, serving drinks and meals throughout the day. The more laid back sister of the elegant Fig. Restaurant, The Bistro boasts the same kitchen team, under the expert guidance of Head Chef Pasquale Russo. The Bistro has its own street entrance, an open fire and bar, as well as al-Fresco dining in the summer. Our specialty is a relaxed and informal dining experience with Sharing platters, Tapas. We have a wide menu to suit all tastes, including children's menu. We pride ourselves on the extensive range of Gins, wines by the glass and cocktails.
