Didn't know this place existed. Doncaster just get's better and better - still a 'newby' to all the town has to offer! Taken to Woods Tea Rooms by a family member who had been before. We were there for a late lunch and they didn't disappoint. Looks like a few other people had the same idea! Don't be put off... More

Have been going to Woods for many years and have never been disappointed. Food is consistently good and always presented well. It has a nice ambience, but feel it could be improved with some subtle background music. Would recommend for couples and families. Has a good children's menu that is reasonably priced. The best food in Doncaster town centre.

Popped in for lunch. Traditional kind of place serving simple food done very well! One of the best club sandwiches ever! Will go back and try other dishes. The place is not swanky but the food was excellent and the tearooms were busy as a result. Excellent

The food is of the highest quality either off the Today Board or off the normal menu. I would recommend Afternoon Tea with a chose of sandwiches from the main menu and a nice warm wedge of scone with jams, cream and butter (ask for old style otherwise it comes on a 3 tier plate) and if after that you... Had breakfast this morning been visiting for 20 years the Chutneys were always a delight and a welcome addition to the meal beware the fruit one is now changed to Curry favoured. Not what I expect or should be served in such a traditional tea shop I did ask the Manager Owner about it but this is the new recipe... More

The time it takes to have a breakfast cooked is ridiculous, you get your pot of tea, and by the time the meal comes, its gone cold, mentioned to manager, who did not seem to care. Dont order drinks until meal comes, and be prepared to wait, I waited 30 minutes for my breakfast

Great food and plenty of it. Yes, its a tad pricey but you really get what you pay for. Always busy so if you want to go in your lunch hour at work its not really doable. Reminds me of Bettys tearooms. Highly recommend.

We went in with the family on a Saturday shopping trip to Doncaster. It was very busy, but the staff we're really friendly and helpful and managed to fit us in. All I can say is the food we ordered was tasty and fresh and considering how busy they were was served quickly. The staff were nothing but professional, friendly and... More

Excellent afternoon tea. No need to pre-book (unlike many others in the area) Afternoon tea consists of two types of sandwiches, salad, crisps, a HUGE scone with cream and jams. The scones are so big that we cut it into 4! This is per person. Good selection of teas and coffees
