Booked as we had a trip to the Britainia Batham's pub just up the road. First time in and no issue booking. Light airey room with the right amount of tables. Arrived about 8pm and it was quite full. Popadoms and dips withing minutes and duly scoffed. I ordered a Garlic chilli chicken, rice and a keema naan. My mate and I shared the rice and keema naan and bothsaid the keema was a little greasy and slightly fishy ? THat was the only issue with our food. Main course took a while to come, but came as we got a bit fidgety ? Curry was great and a nice portion. Meal was reasonable priced and a free mint for afters. I would say allow about an hour and half from start to finish, if tey are busy. Which is expected. Wouldn't hesitate to go again and try something else from the menu.

Went to collect order for four people came to £47.00 I asked the member of staff about the 10% off for collection he said we don’t do it anymore I said it’s on your website and he said it shouldn’t be so beware . I then asked what about a free bottle of wine and the same answer we don’t do that anymore either .😭. What I will say the food was good 👍 and all four agreed .

Came here for a booked sit in meal. Hadn’t been for years. My meal was really nice as was everybody else’s. The waiter was lovely and as usual the menu was substantial. Nice to see the restaurant observed social distancing unlike another similar establishment we went to last week. Again food was awesome. Only negative was restaurant did not participate in the government mon-we’d offer, but they didn’t need to as they were still full allowing for safe distancing. Well done guys!

Had a takeaway delivered from Aashiq's Gornal, must admit it was the best food in town by far.
the spices where balanced and the portions where very generous plus the food was piping hot when it arrived.
I have had a few dining inside the restaurant meals as well must say the staff were very friendly and took their time explaining the menu items despite having many other tables full of dinners.
When the food arrived it was presented very well and the taste was amazing, even my eldest daughter enjoyed it [ she normally is the pickiest person in the family]
I would most definitely RECOMMEND Aashiq's Restaurant Gornal for both dining inside and takeaway delivered home.

Our local Indian Restaurant just happens to be the most Awesome place to enjoy a sit down meal with friends.
Extraordinary menu choices with reasonable price to be fair.
Staff are always very accommodating and we are pleased with the anti covid19 measures they have taken.
I would recommend Aashiq's to everyone.
A fantastic enjoyable dining experience.

Yet another excellent meal at home from Aashiq's can't wait to actually visit again and see the friendly staff. (already booked for Saturday, May) However, until we can takeaways will do, as they never fail to deliver restaurant-quality food.
Been our favorite for years for Authentic Indian food. If your local and not tried them yet- WHY? HOW?
Definitely Recommend this place!

Absolutely the best Indian restaurant around !! I’ve been coming for just over 12 months now after moving to the area & the quality of food is always first class, the staff are excellent & the way the restaurant is run is a credit to the owners. They have some super offers, Sunday’s & mid week but I would easily come without the temptation of a mid week treat. Thanks for another amazing meal to everyone at Aashiqs 👍

Honestly the best curry I’ve ever had. Been coming for years, they do 2 for 1 on Wednesdays and Thursdays (usually - but check before you go). Never had anything less than an amazing meal. The service is always top quality too, very friendly staff.

Best Indian restaurant in Gornal!! Don’t take any notice of the recent hygiene reviews this is the best Indian restaurant for miles! Very clean with the best food, just had the loveliest 20 minutes converted while waiting for my food sorry I didn’t get your name, so rude of me! Keep doing what you are doing

Probably the rudest restaurant I've ever been to, ordered 2 of the same dishes but one of them to be madras hot, they brought them both out and when asked which is the madras version they swiftly removed one and brought it back 2 mins later saying this is madras hot.....is was more like pepper....... when questioned how you can make a madras in 2 mins was told that's how you cook a madras, from my experience you add madras spice at start of cooking not stir some in at the end........ we definitely won't be returning

This is for a take away not the sit down restaurant, The food was really bland and although my dish said spicy was about tikka hot, my wife ordered dansak, and wasn't happy 1 very thin end piece of pineapple with core still in it, and ordered food for 7.15, it turned up a 6.05,so wasn't ready for it. Altogether poor food, cheap ingredients and can't even get time right, won't be using again. Very disappointed. Sinon

Great Meal All Our Food Was Correct And Taste Was Delicious.. Very Tasty And All The Food Was Hot Definitely Visiting Again.

It took me almost 10 minutes to order over the phone the person taking my order was clearly lost and then told food would be 25 minutes and suprise suprise it took them 2 hours. I was sat there just looking at the chaos inside it's a shame really not going anytime soon.
