I went here last Sunday for a drink and it is a nice place to relax in. They only sell prosecco by the bottle but it was only £12 and it was good quality.

The George and Dragon is a perfectly fine pub with ales of average quality. Its quite comfortable and I would recommend it as part of a bar crawl.

Popped into the pub, excellent Timothy Taylor Landlord pint. Cozy inside and tables out the back overlooking a meadow and situated next to the leaning house.landlord had a beautiful dog, unfortunately we couldn't pet him as he was in the doghouse.

My friend and i visited this pub whilst on holiday in Lancaster, we found it via the Real Ale Trail - and we are so glad we did!😀 We received a warm welcome from Mike ( the landlord ), the locals and Mike's dog Bart. We were so impressed by the feel of the place we went back the next... More

We went here last night and they serve very nice white wine. The lads enjoyed the range of ales. The landlord was really friendly and had a adorable dog.

This pub was a lovely little find on a visit to Lancaster. The landlord and landlady are SO friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere and clientele were amazing, and fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here - where there was live music playing too. The beer garden is fantastic too - filled with lots of beautiful plants and flowers.

A friendly village pub with great food. We ate here on the last night of our honeymoon and it was a great choice! The fish and chips were fantastic, so nice in fact that we both ate way too much and followed by the best sticky toffee pudding ever.

I have been going to the George since I was a small child with my parents, the place hasn't changed that much but has a lovely friendly atmosphere.

The George and Dragon is your archetypical old skool boozer which serves a fantastic range of well kept real ale. The landlord could charitably be described as a character and is a top, top guy always ready with a witty comment or top banter. The real ale is to die far, rumour has it the pub has never slipped below... More

This is fast becoming one of our regular pubs - and that's saying something in Lancaster as every other building is a pub. The staff here are really friendly, and dog friendly in particular - there's usually a treat or two for four legged friends! Cheapest and nicest wine I've tried so far in a Lancaster pub. It's never been... More
