Absolutely fantastic. Great place to take children, a beach, reptiles and birds. Customers can handle some of the reptiles and the birds are so close and used to people. Found it by chance, well worth the walk from the canal (bridge 11 on the Stratford). Great food in a wonderful environment. Staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The animal sculptures... It's the strangest place ever right in the centre of the countryside of Solihull. I couldn't quite believe my eyes when I arrived with all the metal African animals dotted here and there. It's a garden centre but I didn't buy a single plant because I was completely waylaid. We went to visit the exotic birds which was delightful, just... More

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. The venue is lovely and feels very authentic. It's quite dark and very hot and there are paraffin lamps lit on the bar. There are fans overhead to regulate the temperature a little. It feels like you're on holiday! The food was yummy but not exactly mind blowing. I had the Curried Goat which... More

The venue is difficult to find the entrance leading to the car park is full of pot holes which have been there for a while, I ate here 2 years ago. It was my niece's Baby Shower once you find the venue it's in a nice setting, the main dining room is quite dark lit by lamps. The food was... More

an interesting concept. we attended an evening event for a friends birthday. we underwent a bag search - for I think alcohol - I don't mind that in this day and age - afterall its for safety. we then got our ticket from the lady in the shop... was walked round the garden centre in the dark lit by paraffin... We had a great day out here when my young niece and nephew came to visit. The whole place was a completely unique and an original experience. The food was excellent and arrived quickly, albeit it wasn't busy when we visited early on a Saturday lunchtime - it did pick up later on though! Only recommendation for improvement is that... More

Stumbled over this place by accident. It looked very interesting from outside with massive animals like elephants, giraffes and zebras lining the street outside. Inside was just as exciting. We walked around the small garden center first. It was set up quite exotic - again with different "metal" animals everywhere and African music playing in the background. Plant wise not... More

We went out as a group for retirement do. The place has great Carribean atmosphere. The food is Carribean style, buffet and you have to buy your own drinks. The atmosphere can get exciting once the entertainment starts. Various tribute bands come to play and you can dance till midnight. Great to go as a couple or in a group.
