I have visited this place on several occasions for lunch and breakfast. The food is overated and the service non-existant. Any conerns are met with an excuse instead of an apology which only makes the situation worse. Its like eating out 20-30 years ago when standards were not what they are now. Probably been here half a dozen times now... More

This is a busy place during peak periods, and the staff are all friendly and as helpful as can be. The food's "good but not great" to quote a professional critic, and while the prices are more than a couple of quid a head higher than their biggest rival's (starts with The, ends with Pole), don't plan to be somewhere... Nice pub, reasonable food, very clean place to be. Not sure who comes up with the drinks prices though, it's cheaper to drink in London.

Popped in for dinner as we were staying at the travelodge around the corner. Within 5 minutes walking distance from there. Friendly, helpful staff, reasonable prices and good size portions of what I call 'pub grub'. We had the ribs, and the chicken and rib combo, followed by the mint match maker sundae. We were both stuffed after, and one... More

Great selection of food. Some great deals on certain days. Also good for Sunday carvery. £9.99 all you can eat which also includes soup and a roll. You can have as much as you want of that too. The choice of veg is outstanding and delicious. The best cauliflower cheese I have ever tasted. Good choice menu with plenty of... More

After a daytime theatre visit in Tewkesbury we wanted somewhere for reasonably priced food, somewhere for our young children to enjoy themselves and somewhere where we could book and park several vehicles easily. Brewers Fayre fitted the bill and although one or two people had food that was not as warm as it could have been, for others (and there... More

Booked a table requesting to be by the children's area, and was placed around the corner and out of sights, is highly irritating with a 2 and a 4 year old. Being pregnant and having to get up every second to check on the children whilst apologising to people enjoying their meals when the kids were running back and forth... More
