This place looks very run down, shabby, and tired. Its in a good spot looking out over the river and marina and really needs to be spruced up. The beer was okay but it didn't inspire me to ask if they did food if you...More

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavour of our meals. Don't be put off by the rather dull red brick building that houses The Boathouse. Once you climb the vivid blue stairs, there is a good view of the river and old bridge,...More

An excellent location with very good parking and close to the town centre. The fixed price menu is good value although there is some limitation on choice. The service was adequate but there were very few other customers at the time. The starter was lukewarm...More

Visiting the town for a little shopping we came across this lovely restaurant. Very friendly staff and a warm welcome. Prompt service. A menu with a varied choice and a specials board which had only two or three choices. I always think that a "specials"...More

The whole place seems run down - parts of the building are falling apart, with tape to stop people from getting too close. The car park is overgrown and unwelcoming. The entrance just has nothing going for it. The carpets are filthy. Our napkins were...More

Always enjoy our visits to the Boathouse. Nice relaxing atmosphere with views over Avon river and Marina basin. Excellent Sunday Roasts are served quite late into the afternoon and are good value for money. Evening meals and drinks are to be recommended too. Never disappointed...More

We were pleased with the quality and portions of the food (Sunday Roast), and the staff were pleasant and efficient. Sadly, the state of the premises let the business down. As several other reviewers mention, the place lacks appeal. The outside is untidy and inside...More

I don't know where it's sourced, but all food is of a high qualitity. I'm sure if you asked the staff would be able to tell you or ask the chef to find out.
