First meal out since lockdown eased! Unbelievably friendly staff who went the extra mile and brought out a face mask after I asked for one, as Uber currently requires them to be worn.
Dealt with Naz, who brought us our bill, he was super personable and chatted to us briefly about coming to a restaurant after lockdown, which I found really nice.
The food was delicious, chicken cooked perfectly in my masala and naan that was really flavoursome to go with it.
Will definitely be revisiting in the future!

The Royal Oak had an exquisite atmosphere, the staff were exceptional and polite, they adhered to all of my needs with professionalism.
Now onto the Indian inspired food, it was amazing, the meat I ate was perfect and the chips served had some of the best sauce in Europe (yes I travel a lot) my partner shared the food with me, yet I felt full and satisfied at the end of the meal showing that they are not stingy with their portions.
I had ice cream for dessert which had been served in a coconut, the presentation was perfect.
I will be revisiting soon as they have plans to open a specialised dessert place, but not just for that I do also wanna revisit to see the amazing staff and lager (alcohol) this place withheld.
Overall I rate this place 10/10

Booked a table for 5.30 on the 25th of Feb for a family meal , We have never been to this curry house and wasn't disappointed we were shown to our table as soon as we went in the waiter came over ad took our drinks order and we had some poppadoms. We then ordered 2 chicken pakora starters , then for mains we had the mixed grill 2 chicken massala , chips , nann bread and bombay potatoes. We didn't wait long for our food and it was hot when it came to the table the place is really clean and staff are friendly food reasonably price would recommend this place

I ordered a vegetable curry, rice and nana with 3 poppadoms. I receive a curry of potato and the rice had green in it. No salad/onions/sauce with poppadoms, pervious restaurants automatically include this but when i complained i was told should have requested it. curry was that terrible i just threw it in the bin. Should have made my own.

Visited this evening was our first visit and was looking forward to it! On arrival was a little worried as food rating was 4, however decor was lovely and staff very welcoming! We ordered lamb mushroom balti, garlic chilli chicken with rice, cheese and chilli nann with chips! Had poppadoms to start they were fine! Our food came my husbands garlic chilli chicken was in a bowl, mine came in a balti bowl and i was given a plate, i added my balti, rice and chips however when i cut into my meat it was chicken!? I called a waiter over and said it wasnt what i ordered he said but is it ok?! No i explained I ordered lamb! He took it away and later returned with my lamb balti! I explained that my chips and rice were on the previous plate, he later returned with rice which i can only explain as looking like it has been tipped out of a take way box with the square shape still on top and looked nothing like our previous rice! And no additional chips! When i said the rice was no good he replied "lovely thank you" in the meantime my husband has finished his meal! The lamb balti was terrible tough dry lamb! I went over and spoke to the manager away from my table explained what has happened, i said we were happy to pay for our drinks but not the food! He stressed my husband had eaten his so it needed to be paid for! I explained we could of just left but i was happy to pay for drinks! After a while he said don't pay for anything! Disappointed first time ever I have never paid for a meal!
Positives staff friendly and lovely setting! Please sort out the food could be a gold mine! ☺️

It was the first time dining at the The Royal Oak Indian Cuisine. Me and my boyfriend had drinks , starters, and main. We loved the food, and the decor in there was so lovely, and lovely lighting which gave a relaxing atmosphere. Staff was friendly and the price was very reasonable. We are definitely going to dine here again, and try there takeaways 😋

Absolute waste of money. Ordered prawn balti which was cold and only had 3 prawns. Saagwalla was cold. Chips was raw and cold. Poppadoms was greasy. All we done was dip the keema naan into the juice of the curries.
I called to inform them how I found tonight's order to be spoken to rudely and basically called a liar! Wont use them again waste of £30. Very disappointed. Many complaints on Google reviews / just eat reviews tonight so it isn't just me. Please don't waste your money.

Just got back from a fantastic evening at the Royal Oak to celebrate a birthday. We were well looked after and felt safe in the current situation. The food is outstanding and the staff are very friendly. It is not the first time we have been here and wont be the last. Thanks to all at The Royal Oak.

Amazing food for a great price. Service was superb, all staff were extremely patient and friendly to everyone on our large table of 15. Shout out to Sid for being so wonderful and attentitive! Would recommend, my family came all the way from Birmingham for the meal!

Visited the Royal Oak with a friend on a Wednesday evening. First impressions last! Lovely venue nice food great service from Naz and Riaz . Even better value on a Wednesday with the banquet offer. Nice place great service will definitely visit again highly recommended.

Visited this lovely restaurant for the first time 28/5/2024 and had a lovely couple of hours. The food was excellent as was the service. The staff are pleasant, particularly Ray. We will definitely be making regular visits.

Start of coke was flat had to change it to diet then no carling had to have some other brand that was terible Very poor food chicken curry very salltey complained ask if I wanted another one I said no as it had put me off then as I went to pay they still charge me for it then reduce it by £2 saying I had eaten the 4 out of the 6 pieces chicken which only 2 pieces was missing as my wife tried it not happy at all would not eat ere agin very poor staff. (Also tried to say no salt in the curry) only positive was the chips.

So we had a very rare evening out without our baby, ordered our food and drinks. popadoms and starter arrived ate them taste was satisfactory I proceeded to tidy plates when I lifted tray up there was a massive piece of chewed up chewing gum on the side of the plate and on the paper napkin covering it 🤮🤢🤮🤢 I felt physically sick . Staff apologised but I just don't think they considered how I felt and how disgusted I was .....paid for the starter and drinks and left .... 3 hours after and I still feel sick 😫 🤮🤢🤮🤢
