Me and my brother come here often and it's the best restaurant for miles around. We actually walk about 2 miles to get here and it's well worth it. Very happy accommodating staff and most helpful too.

This was not originally the plan but I'm not complaining...dinner last Thursday with two colleagues from work then a party of nine for my bro-in-law's 65th birthday last Saturday. This was a really busy night for Naj and Taj and their staff but as usual the food was excellent and the service not overlong. As TA readers will know our... More

We had to wait quite a while, but the restaurant was absolutely packed, and it was easy to see why - the food was excellent and gave good value for money. Proper table cloths were changed after each customer/ diner had left. One waiter was a bit rude, but it may have been due to him being rushed off his... More

It's a really nice restaurant to be in, After half n hour of finding a good restaurant we found this and the best thing about the restaurant is their presentation. Really good and dim lighting is exactly what you need to enjoy a good meal. Yeah, only thing I did not like was customer service, it was abit slower than... More

Superb food, very friendly staff. Busy restaurant must book ahead. I had the special Balti, the layers of flavour in that dish was incredible. We were a party of colleagues celebrating a retirement no one had anything but good things to say about the food.

Highly professional and understandably popular, the dishes here contain all the usual suspects but many are elevated to a higher level. The spicing is accurate and the tastes are clean, there is just enough ghee and the sauces are neither too thick nor watery. If you phone in advance and it is not too busy, then Taj or one of... My girlfriend suggested we try the Kajal just for somewhere different, and I was so glad she did. I was so surprised and amazed at the food here, it was a bit loud as it's a relatively small place with lots of people in but when I stared eating I could care less. Possible one of the best Lamb Madras... More

This isn't the first time we have eaten at the Kajal and we have never had a bad meal. On this occasion we visited with a cousin who live in France, meal was faultless, service good and very friendly.
