I've been several times to the Brewhouse as it is a short walk from home, but never stayed overnight so can't comment on that side. The food and drink - both in its quantity and quality - is of a high standard. The service is also friendly and good, as is the atmosphere. It seems to have become very popular... More

I booked this room through late rooms for a Saturday night, single room at a cost of £40. It's a 10minute drive from the town centre so the location was convenient. When I arrived I was pleased as the Brewhouse pub is lovely, modern, clean with a good atmosphere. It took about 5minutes for a staff member to attend to... More

I have been here many times for lunch and the staff are always nice and the lunch menu simple but tasty. You could have chunky chips or french fries with your meal. The lunch time menu is only £9.95 and is good value for money. The interior is well set out. Recommend for a quality beer and meal with very... More

I went with my wife and two friends for lunch on a Monday. I'm in a wheelchair, and the first thing I noticed was that we could park outside, and wheelchair access into the restaurant was very easy. It was very quiet. The landlord appeared to be behind the bar, and he was very helpful and unhurried. There was a... More

This was our first visit to The Brewhouse and we were very impressed. We went in for a light lunch and some wine. We were given a lovely welcome by a young lady called Katlan, (excuse if spelling is wrong), She took our drinks order at the bar and then brought the drinks to our table. There seems to be... More

been here for a night only, the room was good size but not very clean and in need of refurbish! good mattress on the bed, very small shower cabin! i would go there again but not for spending the night, as the pub downstairs has a very nice atmosphere and nice staff!

I don't normally do these reviews , but with a week of broken sleep , due to a bed being massively uncomfortable , needs up dating as the pub is nice but the rooms are not so nice , cool damp and a little dirty in places,

Called in here at tea time on a Saturday. Very impressed by the furnishings and decor. Five of us had different mains and all of us were impressed by the meals. We were served by a pretty barmaid whose smile lit up the room. We intend to stay here next time we visit Bolton.

This pub/hotel is a much needed pit stop on the way from Bolton to Darwen. Great atmosphere, good food and very reasonably priced drinks. Next time I'm visiting the area I shall hope to stay in one of their guest rooms.

I have returned to eat here on several occasions because the food is excellent but unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. On my last visit our empty plates and empty glasses (requiring a refill!) were sat on the table for a good 15/20 minutes before they were acknowledged by a member of staff and it wasn't busy...
