Freshly prepared food served in an old fashioned , welcoming pub atsmophere. Lovely good size cup of coffee. Michelle looked after us very well. Most definitely recommend a visit if you enjoy good food in a good atmosphere. Made to feel very welcome.

We were travelling from Stroud via M5 and Gloucester looking for somewhere to eat. The place we used to visit in the past, has sadly closed. Forcing us to try somewhere different, hence our visit to the Severn Bore Inn. The décor could do with a little face lift, but our meal was delicious. I had Lasagne which was nice... More

This place needs an entire overhaul. It's in a beautiful setting right on the edge of the Severn but the food is diabolical for the price and I'm not entirely sure on the cleanliness as I was poorly. Personally, I won't be eating here again.

We booked for the Sunday Carvery. It was awful. The veg was frozen meat tough. It was hard to see who was staff there appeared a lot of people hovering around doing nothing. The person behind the bar was friendly but no one else. Toilets need some TLC and the whole place could do a tick of paint. Very disappointing... More

We stopped here for lunch on the way to the Cotswold . The pub was cold , the toilets had damp in them and the food was yuk. Will never return and I am surprised they are even open.

Dropped in to this pub whilst looking for somewhere to have a drink and a Saturday afternoon meal. Entering the bar, we immediately noted the cold, unwelcoming atmosphere and this got worse when we placed our drinks order with the lady behind the bar who showed very little interest in welcoming new visitors to this establishment. We took a quick... More

Awful so bad it was funny, potatoes raw, beef cut from fatty stringy end. Frozen Yorkshires, lack of decent veg, gravy ok. Very very overpriced they could have been rushed off their feet as the two other carverys were packed solid heaving. The pub side is dreadful, lady behind the bar could not pull a pint the Pepsi came from... More

Welcome to the Severn Bore Inn... Mark and Chelsea warmly welcome you to their home. We run a PUB that does great food. We are not a Restaurant, or a "Gastro Pub" and if that is what you are looking for, then there are plenty that will cater this for you. What we do promise though is a great welcoming experience, and some yummy food! We source all our food as locally as possible with our meat coming from the Butchers next door! We have not long since taken over the pub, and we are still building the menu, and sorting out the Decor, but this aside, we hope you enjoy what we have to offer. If you are not happy with any part of your experience here, for whatever reason, please let us know straight away and we will do our best to put things right!Join us every Sunday for our carvery, but arrive early to avoid disappointment! It goes fast!We look forward to meeting you. Mark & Chelsea x
