We booked Sunday lunch, arrived 20 minutes early. As we were early were shown into a function room next to the toilets and main door. The small table was a dirty, rickety M.F.I. affair, complete with dirty place mats. We put another similar table next to it to try and cure the wobbling - also to give some space for... More

We went for a family birthday meal Thursday night . I'd asked shaun the head chef - owner if he could do me a special menu for the occasion . He cooked us a 6 course dinner which was outstanding the table was laid beautifully with champagne on ice on our arrival. Shaun and his wife Donna made the whole... More

We spent a week on the Mon Brec canal and called in the Coach and Horses for an evening meal. The food was lovely and the ambience was great. Dog friendly.

We were a family party of nine people including two children. We were surprised when arriving at 7.00.p.m. on a Thursday the pub was packed. The staff were friendly and efficient. The menu is fairly large offering a good mixture of dishes including vegetarian. Although there was a wait following our ordering the food arrived piping hot and everyone thought... More

The Coach and Horses has a lovely varied, locally sourced and home cooked menu. The quality of the food was great and the staff really lovely and helpful. My only suggestion would be to provide a more extensive children's menu reflecting some of the main list - just in smaller portions! Although the staff were really helpful in providing a... More

Popped in for a quick dinner while staying on the canal. It's a quick walk - 2mins max- from the row path. Huge portions - you'll only need to order a main. Posh fish & chips and the burger are highly recommended. You can even big your four legged friend along.

On the recommendation of a friend, my wife and I visited on Saturday lunchtime. Had a warm friendly greeting from the staff and were shown to a table. When we were given two menus printed on card, we were a bit underwhelmed, as it seemed to consist of the usual "pub grub" staples....gammon, pie, chicken etc. But then we spotted... More
