We have just had 3 fantastic days in Penmaenmawr where we stayed in an Airbnb so we could explore the surrounding area. We frequented this pub each evening and were welcome by Angie/Angela as we were locals. I had my reservations on arrival but Angie...was friendly and funny and we had a lot of laughts. We will be returning to the area and will definately be back to see Angie.More

We visited the Bron with a large group (27 Adults & Teenagers) as part of an end of season netball weekend away in Penmaenmawr. I contacted the landlady (Angie) in advance to check we would be ok to call in due to the number of...people. She was extremely helpful and confirmed this would be fine. Upon arrival, we were made to feel really welcome and we literally took over the back of the pub. There is a nice little beer garden at the rear if the weather is suitable. Angie popped some free credits on the duke box and the group had a good old sing song which will leave some happy memories. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on paying the Bron a visit. You’ll be made very welcome and the prices are very reasonable.More

Stumbled across the Bron as we walked back to our campsite. Great welcome with two kids (4+7). We played free pool due to the weekly timetable and had fun. Barmaid was friendly and did not seem worried by the children playing pool under supervision. Good...beer and friendly locals/fellow tourists. Would recommend this place. Small area out the back for those whom appreciate the fresh air. Toilets downstairs only draw back but as a traditional vintage pub spot on with the two sides to the bar.More
