Very nice place, lovely setting. The staff was helpful. My partner and I are really passionate about food and somehow not easily satisfied. We had the 3 course dinner and were really happy with everything. My partner had the duck leg as a starter, I had the crab croustade. They were both delicious and sophisticated. We both had the tenderloin... More

We were on a work Christmas lunch. I found the portions were small. They were also cold by the time they reached us. I can only review the place on this occasion as a Christmas lunch and the slow service may have been because we were a party of around 20.

I find it very difficult to review this restaurant as it is so hit & miss. I recently visited during the Opera Festival and both I and my husband had a superb lunch however the service was poor, the chairs and table were dirty (we had to ask for the table to be cleaned) and the utensil holding the cutlery... This place has both a restaurant and cheese & bread shop. When I passed in front of the shop window, I really wanted to try the restaurant seeing how the shop looked great (being French, bread, cheese and wine sounded like heaven!). We went for late lunch and I have to say I was a bit disappointed by the quality... More

A group of us had a late lunch recently. Lovely dining room. Food only ok. I had the mushrooms to start- tasty once seasoned. Mussels were not great- lemon grass, ginger overpowered the fish.Another at the table agreed who ordered them also. Lovely ambiance though, we enjoyed the place and will be back.

We dined at Greenacres after a performance at the Wexford Festival Opera - it is one of the (VERY) few restaurants that offers a post-performance dinner. The standards as always were very high - as is the price!

Had the best pre opera dinner here . Great atmosphere and fantastic food especially pigeon breast starter. Went back again for Sunday lunch it was so good. Great wine selection as its a wine store too !! Bought some local delicatessen produce to take home from the extensive selection. Upstairs art gallery was a revelation large and airy with some... No visit to Wexford is complete without a trip to Greenacres. Lots of fine wines and food to look at. A spot of wine tasting with Raymond revealed an exceptional Tokai. The restaurant is wine bar style but very busy and crowded, so booking a must. The food is good with the risotto and mussels both recommended. Nice rosé to... More

Our large party had a dinner during the opera festival where we arrived a little late amidst many busy tables . Despite our tardiness the staff and kitchen served us extremely well with very attractive food and wine . Meat and fish dishes were imaginative and well executed . We went as a couple the following night and the food... More
